When it came time to narrowing down a location for our August wedding it was a challenge because the people we love are great distances apart. We both have spent many family trips together at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise so it is a location that is very dear to us as a couple and to our families. We wanted a location that held meaning for us and so we chose to invite our nearest and dearest around the world to celebrate our wedding day with us in one of the most enchanting and inspiring locations in the world.
We were married on a terrace overlooking the glacier fed emerald coloured Lake Louise which provided the inspiration for the vows I wrote the morning before the wedding (see picture). We truly enjoyed being with everyone dear to us in a place that means so much to us. It was an elegant heartfelt day that we will never forget!
