King George VI and Queen Elizabeth were the first reigning monarchs to visit Canada. It was also the only tour of George VI in Canada. Here during the tour of 1939, Their Majesties are accompanied by Prime Minister W.L. MacKenzie-King at Banff Spring Hotel with Cascade Mountain in the backdrop.
