This Festive season, the historic Royal Alexandra Suite, located on the 20th floor of Fairmont Winnipeg, will be home to not just its usual visiting royalty and celebrities, but also Santa Clause himself. Santa checks in on Saturday, November 19 and checks out on December 18—but while he is busy meeting toymakers or shopping in Downtown Winnipeg, guests and the public can tour his luxurious home-away-from-Pole every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In celebration of Santa’s favourite holiday tradition, a visit to the ballet for a Nutcracker performance, Santa’s elves have decorate the suite with whimsical Nutcracker themed details including twinkling pink and gold Christmas trees, an elegant dinner table set for Santa and his special guests, a letter-writing station for leaving holiday wish lists, and exciting giveaways to spread the good cheer. Guests who post or tweet a photo of their Santa Suite visit using the hashtag #WPGSantaSuite will automatically be entered to win a one-night stay at Fairmont Winnipeg on the Fairmont Gold floor. The Santa Suite is available for unique private events and Holiday Receptions for between 15 and 20 people. Every decoration donated will help a child to incorporate dance into their lives. Santa Suite Open House: The Santa Suite will be open every weekend for with a letter writing station for leaving holiday wish-lists, tours, photo opportunities, and complimentary treats. Santa Meet and Greet Dates: Santa himself will take a break from his hectic holiday schedule to make appearances and pose for photos with visitors in his Fairmont Winnipeg Santa Suite. Dates and Times: Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, December 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, December 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Filbert Meet and Greet Date: The Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s famous Nutcracker mascot, Filbert the Bear, will be available for photos with visitors in the Santa Suite on Saturday, November 26 from 11 a.m. Festive Parties and Private Events: The Santa Suite is available for unique private events and Holiday Receptions for between 15 and 20 people.
