Meet Kate Francois, our Wedding and Proposal Manager!
Born in Coquitlam, BC, Kate always had a passion for event and wedding planning from an early age. While in school obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of British Columbia, Kate was working within the hospitality industry planning events for a local Vancouver restaurant. During this time, she discovered her true passion and following graduation, decided to enroll in BCIT’s Event Marketing and wedding planning program. She took it upon herself to plan weddings on her own time and with much success, landed her first role with a local wedding planning company.
Now having worked in some of the city’s most prestigious wedding venues, with hundreds of weddings in her repertoire and a black book full of contacts, Kate is certainly experienced in the romantic endeavors of saying ‘I do’. With a keen eye and sharp attention to detail, some may call her a ‘fairy godmother’ – but she just calls it the ‘perfect fit’. Working with events ranging from unique intimate ceremonies, to large celebrations, she loves being creative and draws inspiration from every event.
For those wondering how to pop the question, leave your worries behind as Kate plays cupid. Taking the lover’s leap is a walk in the park with proposals that can include anything from fireworks to an airplane banner.
