I was surprised to hear the Chateau Laurier is celebrating 100 years. It was 28 years June 2 that my husband and I celbrated our wedding at this hotel.  Needless to say it was very beautiful. The weather was warm and sunny.

Although there were many funny stories about that night, some that should not be shared, this one I will.

My parents paid for an open bar for some time in the evening and my little cousin (who is not so little after 28 years) said to my Dad, "Uncle Jim this is so great, the pop is free"

After much partying (not just pop) we could not find our gifts, after much ado we found out the wonderful staff had locked them up, as we were not in any shape to take care of them.

Thanks for the wonderful night and still partying 28 years later.
