Chinese Spring Festival

The "Temple Fair" or Miao Hui is an important event for Chinese people during the Spring Festival. People go to temple fairs to have fun, taste good food, and enjoy performances.

The temple fairs in Beijing date back to around 1000 AD, when they were called "Spring Outings", steadily booming throughout the following three dynasties of the Yuan, Ming and Qing emperors.
