The Experience
Fairmont is more than just simply accommodation, but is an experience of the senses. All of the Fairmont properties present a unique experience created from the structure itself, combined with its geographical location. I am personally more drawn too Fairmont’s historical properties as its past is filled with great stories and more importantly tradition.
The Fairmont "Experience" stimulates all of the human senses. At any of the Fairmont properties there are countless things to feel, taste, hear, and most importantly see. The detail contained within the architecture at any of the Fairmont hotels is in my opinion the best part of the experience. To see these historical properties is to look into its rich past, while standing in present day.
I feel the photo I have uploaded adheres to this characteristic of historical Fairmont properties, as the Empress Hotel is impressive in its construction and location alike in Victoria's inner Harbor.
